NOTE: We require campers to use a fire pit elevated off the ground. If you don’t have one, we hire them out at the Camp office. Fires can only be lit in accordance with Rural Fire Service Regulations. That means that if a fire ban is in place in our area, fires cannot be lit at Myall River Camp.

Myall River Camp has a designated swimming area in front of the sandy beach.
The Myall River is often the colour of dark tea due to the tea tree oils dropped in upstream. This is reputed to be good for skin and hair care.
When taking a dip, guests are cautioned to consider the currents and tides and their own swimming ability. Be aware, the area is not patrolled.
We do not allow bookings to be rescheduled or refunded due to weather conditions. Pls refer to our Terms and Conditions. There is still plenty to do if it’s raining such as:
- Visit the local art and craft galleries in Tea Gardens or the library for some holiday reading.
- Have coffee and cake at one of our cafes in Hawks Nest.
- Play cards, board games or listen to music.
As part of our operating permit, pets are not permitted. If you are traveling with a pet, please contact the office on 0409 836 828 for a list of local pet minding services.
