LIABILITY
The person registering as the guest at Myall River Camp shall be liable for any loss or damage to the fixtures and all fittings in the Tiny Houses, and the private area where the houses are located. Myall River Camp or Campground Management will not be held responsible for, or liable to compensate loss, theft, or damage to personal property on, or brought into the Tiny House or in its immediate vicinity. Persons entering the Campground do so by accepting personally and severally all risks and waiver all claims against the Proprietor.
As Myall River Camp is situated in the Australian bush, guests are responsible for having basic wilderness survival skills. These include not approaching wildlife and keeping food out of its reach.
Myall River Camp will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by falling branches while on the property.
Additionally, as the Campground is located riverside, guests are responsible for their own water safety.
The Tiny Houses must be left in a tidy condition, with no food left out, doors and windows closed and locked. Items particular to each Tiny House, such as decorations and kitchenware should be kept in that unique Tiny House.
Leaving the Tiny House in an unfit state for re-occupation on the day of departure following a standard clean, will mean extra cleaning fees being levied. In cases when a Tiny House cannot be re-let on the day, the daily room tariff will also be charged, following discussions with management, until it can be returned to a saleable condition.

If a date change is allowed, it will be considered a new booking and subject to the standard cancellation policy. Only one change is permitted per booking and any future change will mean the total booking amount will be forfeited.
We encourage all guests to ensure they have adequate travel insurance.
SITE/ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY
Strictly no more than 2 adults per Tiny House. The facilities in the off-grid Tiny Houses have been designed for two guests only and cannot sustain a greater load. Over-use of the facilities by more than the permitted guests, including the composting toilets and showers, will lead to the loss of power to the Tiny House. Please respect the two-person limit in the interests of a sustainable and enjoyable stay.
In addition, no tents, caravans, campervans etc are permitted in the green space around the Tiny Houses. This area is reserved for the pair of guests occupying each Tiny House.
The designated area for the Tiny Houses is for the exclusive use of Tiny House customers. Visitors are not permitted.
OFF- GRID FACILITIES
As we are an off-grid Campground, our facilities in our Tiny Houses are subject to the elements and other variables. While we will make every effort to ensure all facilities and equipment are functioning for your stay, Myall River Camp Management does not take responsibility for refunding guests if this equipment fails. This includes the shower, cooktop, fridge etc. If a problem is experienced by guests it is imperative that they inform management immediately so that efforts can be made to rectify the issues. Guests should take special note of maximum capacity numbers, conserve power and read the visitor book provided to understand how to properly use the off-grid facilities provided.
The Tiny Houses have state-of-the-art composting toilets. To ensure their optimum operation it is the guests’ responsibility to follow the instructions provided. Placing anything other than that specified in the toilet will incur a hefty repair fee.
SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the Tiny Houses and their outdoor undercover areas.
PETS
NO PETS are allowed in the Campground as part of our operating permit.
FIRES
All fires must be contained in a fire pit elevated off the ground. Pallets, glass or cans are not permitted to be burned in fire pits. Strictly adhere to all fire restrictions, including total fire ban status. If in doubt, ask our staff or check the RFS website for fire bans. Fires cannot be lit when windy due to the increased risks. It is also your responsibility to extinguish a fire before leaving it. No ash from fires to be emptied at the base of trees due to fire risk.
NOISE
A 10pm noise curfew applies across the Campground. Please respect others at all times.
ROADS
Strict 10km speed limit – walking pace.
Road rules apply within the Campground including safe driving.
No unregistered vehicles permitted.
KEYS
Lost or stolen keys will mean a $100 replacement charge, after an attempt has been made to contact the guest to return the keys.
